Microsoft is increasing PC game devs’ revenue share on the Microsoft Store - rodgersalsoned

Microsoft has revealed that developers are set to get a larger slit of the tax income split on PC games sold connected the Microsoft Store. The commute comes as part of the company's "commitment to PC gaming", and will inherit effect this summer.

Revenue share on digital storefronts is a common topic of discourse among developers. Just recently, a GDC survey found that only 3% of 3,000 game manufacture workers polled thought the 30/70 gross share on digital storefronts is justified. That's down from 6% the year prior.

This isn't the first time that Microsoft has mentioned its commitment to PC, with Xbox head Phil Spencer saying parthian year that it was his aim that first-party games along Personal computer fall to "Steamer and our put in" as Microsoft "built an expectation from our customers".
