This music genre-bender is a offensive married couple of Factorio and Don't Starve
In Atrio: The Dark Wild you're an android in an abandoned, neon cyber metropolis. Everything is dark, the city is full with rogue, vicious bionic man animals, and you need to buzz off the lights plump for on. It's an acceptant world survival crafting game fused with an automation-factory building gritty. Also, because IT's about horrifying dog-things with pusher plates for heads pouncing out of the darkness to murder you, you're likely to get spooked at least once.
As your character strikes out to research the city, touch on its functions, and find unexampled stuff every bit you unravel a narrative mystery—merely you too build a base. A base with lots of conveyor belts and jerk-off things and thruster plate dogs that you captured and made into factory parts. You've too got to save the base's defenses automated, since you're impossible exploring indeed much, adding a fresh bend to this genre crossbreed. It's a bit like if you were playing a fat-free Factorio, only you also had to deal with Assume't Starve's dangerous expeditions outside your base's comfy walls.
If you're into this kind of gamey, in that respect's also a great little video from the developers about how they held a contest for the people WHO playtested the show and, well, they did much of stuff the developers didn't foretell.
You can find Atrio: The Caliginous Wild on Steamer, where there's a demo, at least until Steam Next Fest ends tomorrow. We've also compiled a list of our 16 preferred Steam Next Fest demos and a list of the demos for 52 games announced at E3 on Steam. If you lack to make for those, act active: Steam Next Fest closes at 9:00AM Greenwich Mean Time on June 22nd, and the demos with it.
