There is probable no reset button. If the TPMS lite is on you either have a tire with depression air force per unit area or an issue with the TPMS system. Check the air in the tires.

TGXTM is correct. So is ZM3Xy. 85KS is yanking chains. From what I have read, the TPMS uses RFID to communicate. And that is powered by batteries. The batteries have a life expectancy of virtually 7 years. Earlier estimates were five years. Simply that has been revised. You have two integrated pieces. I is the transmitter from the tire, the other is the software arrangement in your motorcar electronics. You lot can try a "hard boot" if the problem lies in the SW. Which involves removing the negative terminal on your auto battery for virtually a minute. If that doesn't resolve it, you need to have the TPMS arrangement checked. And equally I said, if the car is older than seven years, then the fault nigh likely is in the TPMS sensors. Which will need professional review. Since it isn't just a function replacement procedure. Sensor coordination needs to be performed if a sensor is replaced.

I am having the aforementioned consequence. Last calendar week we had a common cold morning (In Florida) and the low tire pressure level light has come on. It hasn't gone off. Tire is showing the same pressure every bit the three others and it however will not become off.

I'm having the same problem. I called Hyundai roadside assistance and they didn't accept a clue. All the rude women would say was "do you desire me to have someone come up and put the donut on? Yes or no?" Same on Hyundai for having so little support for a known problem.

Over inflate the tire that is indicated by a few pounds. Drive the motorcar around the block a few times, and when it goes off, deflate the tire to normal. Should work, pull into any Hyundai who should reset it for gratuitous (Covered under their fantastic bumper to bumper 5 Yr warranty programme)

I accept the same issue. Last dark was cold, for So Cal standards and at present my right rear TPMS is stuck. Going to try the over inflate method, seems logical it may work.

If the light is on one of the sensors is bad. The HUD display in nuance should pin indicate which i is bad. Yous dont have to go to the dealer for these sensors. Whatsoever reputable tire shop will accept universally programmable sensors in stock. They basically clone the RF ID off of one of the good sensors and apply it to the new one with a piddling handheld estimator.. if the tires are not low, over inflate a little as stated to a higher place or resort to the source above...a reputable tire shop. Enquire them to fill with Nitrogen and the air pressure will never waver with temp.

I have a 2012 accent and plain there is a reset button under the steering bike. Turn the ignition to on. Hold the button til the light flashes. Commencement engine. Wait 20 mins. Of course make sure your tire force per unit area is 32-35 before doing this.
